Daniel Y. Harber is a graduate of the University of Colorado, receiving his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering Sciences in 2003. During his time at the University of Colorado, Mr. Harber managed theNational Severe Storm Laboratory Tornado Chaser UAV Project at the University of Colorado, specializing in UAV airframe design, composite structures design, wind tunnel testing, and science payload integration.

Since joining the Pioneer Astronautics team, he has served as a test engineer on the NASA Phase I SBIR Mars Solar Balloon Lander (MSBL), working on hardware testing and demonstration. In addition, Mr. Harber has also worked on the NASA Phase II Lift Gas Cracker (LGC) Project as a Design and Laboratory Engineer where he contributed to design work on the Dimethyl Ether/Hydrogen Peroxide autothermal reforming system design. Mr. Harber is currently also serving as the aerodynamic lead for the NASA Phase I Mars Gas Hopper Airplane.

Dan spends his time outside of work going out and skiing. Being from Taiwan and living in Colorado, Dan is the biggest Rockies/ Chin Hui Tsao Fan.Tsao is the 1st Taiwanese / Chinese Pitcher in the Big Leagues. Click here to track him.
