Maggie Zubrin is Vice-President of Pioneer Astronautics. She is in charge of administration, accounting and personnel policy. Prior to joining Pioneer, Ms. Zubrin spent sixteen years as an Account Manager with Great West Life. Ms. Zubrin attended Metropolitan State College with an emphasis in marketing and also attended the University of Colorado at Denver, focusing on creative writing. In addition to her Pioneer responsibilities, she serves as the Executive Director for The Mars Society, a non-profit organization involved in outreach and research work in support of manned exploration of Mars. Along with her professional duties, Maggie spends her time nurturing her three children, two cats, two dogs and various other small pets. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, golf and horses.
